Diya Travel Website Launch

August 06, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Travel News
Diya Travel has been a project dreamed of by Grant du Toit for many years. After some careful thought, he is now going to fulfill his project. Grant has about ten years experience in the travel industry in fields ranging from tour guide, accommodation management, tour company management and entertainments manager. Addition skills include knowledge and experience in website design and online marketing.

Diya Travel wishes to keep their website simple and fast. A simple high speed navigation system has been used with plans in the pipeline to speed things up even more. Diya Travel wishes to maintain a “three click” policy allowing users to get to the service after three clicks. Various search and sitemap facilities have been included. Visual Flash based maps are to be integrated in the future making navigation even more interactive. The visual aspects have been kept to level sufficient to enhance the experience for potential travelers and keeping it to a level where the load time is not greatly affected for those on slower means of internet connectivity. Additionally, they have based their servers in the northern hemisphere to ensure the traveler gets the optimal bandwidth they require.

Diya Travel will start focusing on South
Africa with their African Accommodation being rolled out first. They have already covered a number of Nature Reserves, Game Reserves and National Parks as a source of information. In the near future more services and products will be added and more countries included. Future services include various modes of transport, overland safaris, wedding and honeymoons, conferencing, fly-in safaris, golf tours and safaris and various day tours and adventures.

Diya Travel wishes to aid the traveler in making informed travel decisions. To do this Diya Travel is making available information on visas, embassies, travel clinics, travel insurance and any other information that could benefit the potential traveler.

Diya Travel will provide a travel forum and travel blog in the near future to allow potential travelers to interact with other travelers currently planning to travel, traveling or having traveled in the regions they wish to go to.

Diya Travel says they are gearing up for the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Grant said, “We are optimistic that Diya Travel will be able to handle the load in preparation of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. We are South African and always done our best on the world stage. We don’t plan to start failing now”.
