SAO PAULO, Brazil - August, 7, 2007 - A&H Software - A&H Software, a brazilian high-quality software development company, released FingerAuth Password Manager, a fingerprint login manager for Mozilla Firefox Web browser. FingerAuth Password Manager allows Firefox users to log in to any Web site with just the touch of their fingers.

By using an ordinary fingerprint reader, the user simply touches the reader with any finger and the software will enter the information instantly, instead of the user filling in all of the fields of a login page. The program runs on Windows 98 or newer and is freely available for a 30-day evaluation at http://www.fingerauth.com.

"FingerAuth fills a gap in login-related extensions for Firefox: the simpler solutions are limited, and the complete solutions aren't convenient or easy to use," says Belarmino de Camargo, the product manager responsible for the program.

In order to log in with his fingerprints, the user registers them once with the program. When the user touches the reader with a finger, FingerAuth Password Manager compares the scanned fingerprint with the ones already registered by him to verify his identity. Once it's confirmed, and only if so, the login information, such as the user name and password, is submitted to the website.

"After some hours checking my e-mails, accessing my Orkut and logging in to forums by just slapping my finger over the reader, I can't stand typing all those passwords anymore," says Moacir Soares, who participated in the beta-testing phase of the product.

FingerAuth Password Manager runs on Windows 98 or newer and is freely available for a 30-day evaluation at http://www.fingerauth.com. At the website users can also instantly purchase a registration code for only US$30 to unlock all of the program features and receive priority technical support.
