PRLEAP.COM) Local Knights band together to help local Charity to benefit handicap children.
On Sunday August 12, 2007 from 8:00am to 11:30am at the Medina Knights of Columbus Hall in Medina Ohio the KofC will be hosting a pancake breakfast to benefit JAF’s Therapy in Motion.
All proceeds will be donated to JAF’s Therapy in Motion to be applied directly to the cost of boarding and caring for livestock used in therapeutic riding. JAF’s Therapy in Motion is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization out of Medina Ohio thats mission is to assist handicap and special needs children through therapeutic horse riding sessions. Judy Fox, JAF’s Director, who is a registered instructor with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association out of Denver Colorado, caters about a dozen or more special needs children at any given time from the Medina area. JAF’s has offered lessons to families since 2001 and operates with a small budget funded from local donations and local volunteers, to keep lesson costs low for families.
Fresh Hot Pancakes will be served at a cost of 5$ per person, 3$ for children seating & parking is limited so arrive early. Any additional donations towards JAF’s would be greatly appreciated, write checks to "JAF’s Therapy in Motion" 5730 Lafayette Rd Medina, OH 44256.
