The keynote speech for Team Outreach Homeward Bound, Inc.’s Night Out Dinner, will be given by State of Kansas House of Representative Melody C. Miller on August 25, 2007 at Tallgrass Country Club


(PRLEAP.COM) Team Outreach Homeward Bound, Inc. is a nonprofit organization for at-risk runaway and homeless youth. Their founder Kansas Author Venus Lee has always had a vision of providing temporary shelter for runaway and homeless youth who find themselves in various situations such as physical violence, sexual abuse, drug addition, etc. Team Outreach’s goal is to accomplish this through shelter, case management, advocacy, phone intake and support through mobile outreach teams that cruise the streets to make contact with on the street youth in need of food, clothing, medical information and more.

On August 25, 2007 at 7 p.m. located at the Tallgrass Country Club, 2400 N. Tallgrass, Wichita, KS 67226, Team Outreach will have their annual networking dinner. The purpose of this event is to not only raise funds, but to also raise awareness. To bring together a group of Kansans who are equally appalled by the numerous casualties who have fallen victim to the desperate feelings and emotions that are felt among the at-risk youth that find themselves with nowhere to turn.
