August 8, 2007, Los Angeles, CA — On Friday, July 27th, New Orleans-based rock band COWBOY MOUTH shot their new live DVD at the world-famous Roxy Theatre on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Selling out the venue, the band played to more than a thousand fans, who flew in from all over the country to catch the show. Crowd members rubbed elbows with several celebrities also in attendance, including Ellen DeGeneres, Portia Di Rossi, David Steinberg, Gavin DeGraw, Mark DiCarlo, Hanson, and producer Matthew Wilder (No Doubt, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson). Mark Bryan, guitarist for Hootie and The Blowfish, also made a surprise appearance, joining the band on stage for "I Can Tell." The hour and a half-long show was shot in high-definition for the band's new live DVD, set for release in November.

COWBOY MOUTH's appearance at The Roxy was part of a three month multi-city summer tour. This summer's shows have included headlining spots at Chicago's Sheffield Garden Walk Festival (10,000+ fans), Milwaukee's Summerfest (10,000+), Michigan's Muskegon Summer Celebration (5,000+), and full houses at the Dallas House of Blues, The Pageant in St. Louis, The Paradise in Boston, and BB Kings in New York. In May, Cowboy Mouth also performed their hit song "This Much Fun" on "Live With Regis and Kelly." The band will launch their fall tour in late August, with stops scheduled in major cities all over the U.S.
