KINETIC ELECTRIC - A COMIC NOVELLA

(PRLEAP.COM) (Atlanta, Georgia) - New York Native and Atlanta Resident Artist, Saint, Exhibits Kinetic Electric- A Comic Novella, at the Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech, through August 31st.

Kinetic Electric – A Comic Novella, is inspired by the idea of how robots will play a vital roll in our future existence. In this series, the focus is on a young girl shopping for a personal robot. The story progresses in each illustration as the quest for the robot transpires. Negotiating price, selection, and size, all matter as if shopping in the present day market place. The story is illustrated in black ink on white paper, which adds the right amount of eerie ambiance and a dash of drama to this eccentric depiction of young girl scouting a robot as if shopping for a puppy. The sequential happenstance of illustrations ultimately alludes to a circumstance as a result of a DYI (do it yourself) programming of the personal(ized) robot leaving you to wonder…what happens next?

About the Artist:
Originally from New York, self-taught artist, Saint, moved to Atlanta at the age of 16. Now, 24, he finds he has only just begun to produce some of his most reflective works involving his interest in Thermo Dynamic and Theoretical Physics, which he studied at Georgia State University. Combined with his philosophical point of view, he incorporates his inspirations of American and French Pop Culture, Comic Art, Anime, and 16th Century Japanese Art, while tying it together with intrigue of evolution and monoculture. Saint produces an engaging and entertaining value to his work in a comic-style interpretation of life existing somewhere unknown, parallel to our own existence here on earth.
