AVCOM of Virginia, manufacturer of spectrum analyzers and related accessories for the Satellite, Broadcast, and Wi-Fi markets, is pleased to announce the release of its newest remote spectrum analyzer, the RSA-2500-NXL.

With frequency coverage from 5 – 2500MHz, the RSA-2500-NXL is the perfect tool for the ENG technician working with digital COFDM transmissions. It can easily identify the carrier, align the antenna for maximum gain, monitor adjacent carriers for interference, and ensure zero distortion from overdriving the signal.

The RSA-2500-NXL has a wide input range to allow the operator to look at both IF signals (800 - 900MHz) and RF frequencies from 1.9 – 2.5GHz. The RF input includes a 10dB directional coupler and preamp to enable easy setup to the receiver while maintaining the proper sensitivity and accuracy of the system. It is also designed with one main RF input/output and 3 auxiliary inputs allowing the operator the freedom of monitoring multiple devices remotely.

This unit has been designed to work directly with a monitor and control system or independently via Ethernet with the Avcom custom GUI.

AVCOM of Virginia was founded in 1976 and has been providing affordable spectrum analyzers for testing broadcast, cable, satellite, and wireless networks for over 20 years.
