INFOR SEALS £500,000 CONTRACT WITH HAYLEY GROUP PLC

FARNBOROUGH - England, August 10th, 2007 – Infor today announced a £500,000 agreement with Hayley Group plc, the largest independent stockist of specialist parts for the engineering and process industry. Under the agreement, Infor will deploy its Distribution Essentials solution to streamline the processing of sales and purchase orders. It will provide 250 users with a single view of stock worth over £12 million across 32 branches.

Hayley Group supplies bearings, seals, metals, lubricants, power transmission components and fluid power products for complex and specialist engineering projects to a global customer base. A combination of increasing product complexity and overseas expansion meant that Hayley had outgrown its existing systems, and needed to implement a new solution.

Hayley Group selected a solution from Infor because of its flexibility and ease of use. “Our existing system was old and outdated. To improve our service for customers and to support the growth of the business, it was clear that we needed a new IT system. Infor took a diligent approach and presented a solution that could meet our needs. Once the implementation is complete, the solution will enable our global customer base to track all of their orders online,” commented Jen Newton, IT manager, Hayley Group plc.

To reduce operating costs and process orders more efficiently, Hayley needs to provide customers with the ability to order parts online. The new Infor system will enable Hayley’s customers to raise and track orders through an online portal. It will reduce time spent on processing paper requests and enable the company to service new business more efficiently. The flexibility of Infor’s system will enable the company to support branches and customers overseas and provide real time visibility on all stock.

Infor’s Distribution Essentials software will be implemented across 32 sites to go-live in June 2008. The first stage of the implementation will involve the transfer of thousands of stock codes into the new system.

Ian Kirkwood, business development director for Infor Distribution UK, said: “Like other distribution companies, Hayley Group faces the challenge of managing a growing level of stock. Infor Distribution Essentials will enable the company to create a single view of its stock and increase the productivity of its inventory.”
