Argentina and Chile holidays - Steppes Travel (http://www.steppestravel.co.uk) announces release of “On Location” Argentina and Chile travelogue for August 2007
(PRLEAP.COM) Steppes Travel (http://www.steppestravel.co.uk) announces release of “On Location” from Argentina and Chile, a travelogue detailing Steppes Travel consultant Emma Byrne‘s recent journey to both countries: http://www.steppestravel.co.uk/argentina-and-chile-page2541.aspx
Emma, Latin America Country Director at Steppes Travel, commented, “At Steppes Travel, all of us have first hand knowledge of the countries we promote. I have recently returned from Argentina and Chile, to visit sites such as the Iguazu Falls and the Atacama Desert. I also visted some of the lodges our clients use, to experience the service they offer.”
Emma comments in her report about her experience of the Atacama Desert: “I boarded a flight from Valdivia airport to Calama, where I transferred to San Pedro de Atacama, an oasis in the desert. The following morning I woke at sunrise trying to contain my excitement at being in the driest arid desert in the world. I visited Valle de la Muerte - Death Valley, which is not really known for this and just mispronounced by a French lady, which was staggering and gave me a true perception of how diverse the Atacama Desert can be in a relatively short distance.”
