AeroBid takes on eBay

(PRLEAP.COM) Houston, USA (PRLeap), August 14, 2007 - Over the past 5 months, AeroBid - Online Aviation Auction (www.aerobid.net) has been battling eBay and winning. In this very short time AeroBid has seen a lot of traffic, interest and overall business in the aviation community.

"While working on my private pilot certificate I became interested in the online aviation auction market. I was shocked to find out that aviation related businesses either dealt only with eBay or online classified ads. There simply was no niche online community where one could easily meet other aviators and make deals. I decided to start changing this pattern." says Sasa Pocek, AeroBid’s owner.

Over the past five months a lot of aviation enthusiasts have started finding customers via AeroBid’s niche online aviation auction website. "Being able to easily access a target specific customer base is what keeps bringing me back to AeroBid" says Paul King, general aviation parts dealer. "It will take us several years to create a large enough community to rival eBay but I have a strong understanding that just as people favor specialized stores in real world they tend to follow the same logic online" states Sasa.
