Corporate University Xchange Announces the Release of Leading Industry Research on Performance Management

August 13, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Corporate University Xchange (CUX) has released new research findings from a study focusing on best practices of performance management within top performing industries. A series of follow-up studies on this subject are also underway.

A corresponding Performance Management website provides insight, new articles and video interviews. On Wednesday August 22, Performance Management Expert Raj Ramachandran and CUX Chairman Alan Todd will host a webinar, Performance Management: Keys to Making it Work.

Business performance starts with a clear, consistent strategy. Unless that strategy is communicated throughout an organization - from the CEO down to the third-shift production worker - there is little chance of that strategy succeeding. Performance Management is the tool that enables such communication.

Alan Todd, the Chairman of CUX, led the Performance Management study and broadened his own ideas about the importance of performance management to business success. The study consisted of surveys and interviews with 150 participants in order to better understand how performance management is being implemented, measured, and improved. The outcome of the study was a 50-page report consisting of key insights and case studies from organizations like John Deere and UBS.

The Performance Management report was used as the basis for a community website featuring the new report, recorded telephone interviews, videos interviews, expert opinions and community submissions. This website is unique from other performance management websites in that it is community-based and encourages performance management experts and practitioners to contribute their own material.

The research report provides a look into the current state of Performance Management processes in major corporations, and the website promises to stay at the forefront of performance trends in order to provide the most complete understanding of the practice. Just as expert author and consultant Gary Cokins has joined IBM, John Deere and others in contributing, everyone is encouraged to discuss and submit articles, experiences, and any information that contributes to the dialogue and will benefit the entire community of practitioners interested in this critical subject.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 11 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, marks the third release of another piece of performance management research with the webinar Performance Management: Keys to Making it Work. Todd and Ramachandran will describe what it takes to create, manage and sustain a performance management initiative. This discussion will be based on the results of the May 2007 CUX Performance Management study.

During this webinar, attendees will learn about the 7 key insights and success factors for performance management; how companies like UBS and John Deere implemented and sustained their performance management initiatives; and more. Performance Management: Keys to Making it Work is ideal for anyone interested in learning more about how to create a performance culture.
