Local Musicians Perform Tributes at the OC Pavilion

The OC Pavilion is pleased to welcome additional shows for the Ultimate Tribute Band Series. The shows will take place in August and September at the intimate 529-seat venue and ticket prices range from $25-35 depending on seat location.

The tribute acts featured at the OC Pavilion offer music fans the sights and sounds of some of popular acts of the 70’s and 80’s including upcoming tributes to Linda Ronstadt, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Eagles and Pink Floyd. The tribute performances feature some of the finest local Southern California performing musicians paying their respects to some of music’ biggest acts.

Each band plays an hour and a half set of the band’s biggest hits and little known gems. Concert goers are encouraged to stay after the show in The Vault VIP Lounge to meet the band members, take photographs and get autographs.

Blue Bayou: a tribute to Linda Ronstadt

Blue Bayou stars Robyn Roth as Linda Ronstadt backed by a band of seasoned Los Angeles musicians. Blue Bayou guitarist Stephen Patt toured with the Chambers Brothers, Edgar Winter and Bonnie Bramlett. Dubbed “The Queen of Rock” and “The Queen of Country Rock” Linda Ronstadt became the first female rock superstar in a decidedly male-dominated genre. Blue Bayou is one of the only tributes to this musical pioneer. The concert covers Rondstadt’s career from the late 60’s to her most recent release in 2006. The music featured is a cross-section of pop, rock and country.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young have spoken to generations of musical audiences. From their historic "second gig" at Woodstock in 1969 to their current sold-out concerts, the music of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young has never failed to captivate, enlighten, and charm their audiences. Carry On successfully delivers the unique, 3-part harmonies from Crosby, Stills and Nash with the rock edge brought by Young with each performance.

Carry On's David Crosby (Gary Hagen) was a five-year member of Neil Young's band Crazy Horse. Jody Cortez, drummer for Carry On, has toured and played with Crosby, Stills and Nash, Boz Scaggs, Joe Cocker and Billy Idol and has publicly received accolades from David Crosby.

Hotel California: a salute to the Eagles

This Southern California band is comprised of five respected, multi-talented top music industry professionals. Their show salutes the music of The Eagles, a supergroup whose music and lyrics has proven to have a staying power that few bands lay claim to. Audiences experience the energy and magic of the timeless sounds of The Eagles. Each concert presents an exciting showcase of The Eagles mega-hits such as “Take it Easy”, “Heartache Tonight”, and “Hotel California” as well as newer releases “Get Over It” and “Love will Keep Us Alive”. The group also performs select titles from the solo works of Don Henley, Glen Frey, and Joe Walsh. Hotel California performs 150 - 200 high profile events every year, including special corporate functions, charity benefits, fund raisers, outdoor concerts, festivals, and fairs, playing main stages receiving top billing as a national act, as well as opening for some of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry.

Shine On: The Premier Pink Floyd Tribute Experience

Shine On is composed of ten musicians with over a decade of professional performing and recording credentials. Shine On features vocalist Aaron Broering who has toured in Europe and Asia as lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist with the Sam Morrison Band, which shared billing with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Confederate Railroad and Juice Newton. Aaron has also appeared in concert with Dwight Yoakam, Lee Ann Rimes, Greg Allman and Three Dog Night. Together the group performs the popular, crowd-favorites that all rock fans recognize, interspersed with eclectic tunes that appease even the most ardent “Floyd” fanatics.

Doors to the OC Pavilion will open at 5:00 PM, offering dinner reservations to the 5-star restaurant Ambrosia and appetizer and cocktail service in The Vault VIP lounge. Guests are encouraged to stay after the main stage performances for an after party celebration in the Vault VIP that includes live jazz with cocktails, after dinner drinks and desserts available for purchase.
