INFOR AND R&M ELECTRICAL ‘CONNECT’ WITH A £300,000 CONTRACT

FARNBOROUGH, England, August 16th, 2007 – Infor today announced a £300,000 license and services agreement with R&M Electrical Group Limited, a UK distributor of electrical equipment to the commercial, industrial and oil and gas sectors. R&M Electrical will now deploy Infor Distribution Essentials to provide over 120 users with a single and real-time view on its inventory, worth more than £4.5 million across 13 locations worldwide. It will enable the company to automatically calculate rebate agreements with manufacturers and help set up purchasing terms for its expanding customer base. Staff will be able to track orders and reduce cash collection times, improving margins and productivity.

R&M has specialist divisions that supply certified products to the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors. Customers require documentation related to these products to satisfy their traceability, safety and compliance requirements. Distribution Essentials will provide global access to all certification in an electronic format so that documentation can be easily found, collated, presented and eventually stored.

The growth of R&M Electrical Group pushed the limitations of its current operating system. The company has recently expanded its UK branch network with the launch of new companies in Oxford, Pembroke and overseas in Dubai and Kazakhstan. R&M Electrical looked at several systems but were impressed with the flexibility of Infor’s solution because it could evolve with R&M and enable new sites to be set-up quickly. Infor Distribution Essentials will be integrated with R&M’s product and pricing catalogue from TSI Luckins.

R&M Electrical will work together with Infor on the implementation, using Infor’s industry proven methodology. R&M’s cable distribution company based in Bristol, UK, will be the first site to go live on Distribution Essentials, scheduled to occur in late 2007. Following testing, the solution will then be deployed at all of its 13 sites in the UK and overseas.

R&M Electrical selected the solution from Infor because it was impressed with the business-specific functionality built in for electrical distributors and Infor’s commitment to future product development.
