“Framing our First Five Years; Focusing on the Future”
(PRLEAP.COM) In the fall of 2002, Bonner David Galleries opened their doors with a unique concept for the Scottsdale art community: combining the best of representational art with the finest of contemporary art. Each artist was personally selected into their “whole family of fine art.” Now, five years later, the gallery has doubled in size, becoming one of the largest show spaces in Scottsdale.
Bonner David is proud to showcase the refined landscapes of Romona Youngquist and Rich Bowman, the botanicals of Dyana Hesson, and the crisp still lifes of Cary Ennis and Kathrine Lemke Waste in one half of the gallery. Filling the contemporary side of the galley are the bold abstracts of Max Hammond and Quim Bove’, along with the colorful block imagery of Carol Redmond and fantasy figures of Ellen Skidmore and Bradford Brenner. To mark this significant anniversary, each of the 25 Bonner David artists will have new work in the gallery, including world renown bronze sculptor Glenna Goodacre and the internationally known Nyanhongo family of Shona sculpture.
A special invitation-only reception will be held on Friday evening October 12th to meet the artists and owners in their expanded and remodeled setting to commemorate this significant occasion. The public is invited to celebrate this milestone at a special art walk champagne reception on Thursday, October 18th.
