Control Solutions Brings Business Continuity Expertise to IIA Risk and Control Conference

As part of the agenda for this popular conference, Mark Edmead, western region IT director for the firm, will deliver a session on “The Auditor’s Role in Business Continuity Management” (Monday, August 20, 3:50 p.m.).
Mr. Edmead (CISA, CISSP, SSCP) has more than 28 years’ experience in computer systems architecture, information security and project management. As a consultant he has worked with a wide range of Fortune 1000 companies in the areas of information security and regulatory compliance, and he has helped to establish IT risk management departments for a number of large corporations. Mr. Edmead has taught courses or seminars and presented technical papers on information security and Windows performance around the world for the SANS Institute, MIS Training Institute, Institute of Internal Auditors, Learning Tree International and the University of California San Diego. He is also an adjunct professor at the Keller Graduate School of Management, where he teaches information security courses.
