(PRLEAP.COM) August 30, 2007 — This week has seen the launch of Hi-Tech Squad (www.hitechsquad.com) a new technology blog run by 5 friends who have decided to blog in a posse rather than going it alone.

Blogging to make a living can be hard, especially when you do it on your own. These 5 friends are trying to earn extra income by blogging together. Each member has an area of expertise, some are Microsoft Windows fans, others like Apple’s OS X and a couple of members use Linux on as their main operating system.

The majority of the squad are family men with children and they want to supplement their income using the Internet. “Earning money online can be difficult especially using blogging,” said Gary Sims an OS X fan, “by blogging together we ensure broad, quality content and also the burden isn’t just on one of us.”

The blog is a truly international work. One of the squad is in the USA, another in UK and some in mainland Europe. The power of the Internet and the power of the blog is in the fact that their are no border controls.

Each member of the blog will get an exactly equal share of any income the blog generates. “At first we know that there won’t be any substantial income, but I have read about blogs making more than $500 per month,” said Gary Sims.
