Tacoma Narrows Bridge Limited Edition Collections Offered for Sale

(PRLEAP.COM) Pacific River, LLC has announced the offering of their limited edition photo packs of the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge which were taken during bridge lift operations. There will only be 10,000 photo packs produced in this limited edition offering to the public.

The company has put the first of the photo packs on ebay as a “pre-sale” to allow investors to reserve the first of the collection as they are being produced. “20% of the proceeds from the first 1,000 photo packs will go to the Points of Light Foundation charity to help with disaster relief” said Alan Espasandin, CEO of Pacific River, LLC.

The photos are printed digital images that were taken by the staff of Pacific River Maritime Security while patrolling the Tacoma Narrows in their patrol boats during bridge lift operations. “No one else has pictures like these, we were predominately the only one’s on the Narrows during a bulk of the bridge lift operations and captured a large variety of photos that are sure to be historically archived” said Alan Espasandin who took part in many of the working hours on the Narrows and authored a bulk of the photos.

“The idea to create limited edition photo packs was mine” said Alan, “I just couldn’t see letting our photos stay hidden on our computers when the public could enjoy them and possibly invest in their future historical value.” The collection is to also slated to be published in a picture book for all to enjoy but the photo packs will be exclusive and registered at the US Copyright office. Each of the photo packs will include upwards of 800 photos which will be signed by the photographer and numbered. The company is looking for additional marketing avenues for the collection but for right now only plans to auction them on ebay. The first of the collection has a starting auction price of $15,000.00. Photo packs number 2 through 10,000 will have a starting auction price of $1,000.00.

“We believe anyone who buys a photo pack is making a good investment in what is sure to be a historical event” said Alan. “The Tacoma Narrows Bridge that failed was a terrible disaster, but the recent bridge failure in Minnesota was horrific. We hope to raise a million dollars for disaster relief, so aside from the investment in what may be a valuable collection in the future; money from this sale can help thousands affected by these types of disasters today.”
