ROYAL-LIKE WEDDING TREND GROWING STRONG

Toronto, Ontario (August 21, 2007) – Since the passing of Princess Diana ten years ago, the world still remembers their favourite princess, as the trend to have royal-like weddings grows. According to wedding industry expert and designer, Nina Duong, of Nina Duong Haute Couture brides remember Princess Diana, as they want to feel like a princess on their wedding day.

Brides are more creative the past decade when it comes to wedding planning. “The trend of princess dresses, castle ceremonies and receptions has been growing in the past few years,” says Nina Duong. “I design gowns that will make each bride’s feel like a princess, but I don’t sacrifice comfort,” the designer added.

Choice of a royal location venue does not help supporting the trend locally. For Toronto based brides, the only nearby castle option is Casa Loma. That is for brides willing to wait till 2009! The castle is booked for years to come further proving the attractiveness of royal-like weddings.

As destination weddings grow in popularity, couples can choose from Europe’s many castle destinations. England and France top the list of most popular Europe wedding locations when it comes to castles and being treated like royalty.
