HCMC, 22 August 2007 – Vietnamese firms facing the challenges posed by the country’s integration into the global economy will get some valuable advice today at a seminar entitled Global ERP – Local Finance/Reporting.

The event, organised by TRG International, Microsoft Vietnam and Nexia ACPA, takes place at the Sheraton Saigon on 22nd August, and is aimed at businesses aiming to compete in the international marketplace whilst meeting domestic regulatory requirements.

“Vietnam’s economy is developing at a fast pace, and for many companies an ERP solution is just what they need to help them compete internationally” said Tim Russell, TRG International’s Marketing Director. “However, many ERP solutions are not compatible with Vietnamese finance and reporting regulations, and so companies wishing to purchase them often have to waste time and money on additional localisation work. We hope to show them that this is unnecessary.”

During the event, experts from TRG International. Nexia ACPA and Microsoft will address some of the challenges currently faced by Vietnamese CFOs, show them how a good ERP solution can help them overcome those challenges, and demonstrate a leading ERP solution that offers international-standard functionality whilst complying with domestic finance and reporting regulations.
