Halifax Biomedical choses Scriptnetics for software development

Wilmington, DE - Scriptnetics, Inc. today announced it has secured a software development contract with Halifax Biomedical, Inc. to produce clinical trial quality control software for use by medical technicians who monitor and measure the effectiveness of orthopedic surgery implants.

“This contract further expands Scriptnetics' market reach of software development into the leading edge of the healthcare industry,” said Michael Milne, CEO of Scriptnetics. “We are very excited about this opportunity with Halifax Biomedical in their work with Roentgen Stereophotogrametric Analysis,” RSA.

RSA is an advanced stereo medical imaging technique that utilizes two simultaneous planar x-rays to precisely monitor three dimensional migrations of total joint replacement. Scriptnetics is providing software components to monitor quality control and manage clinical trial images in Halifax Biomedical's Standardized RSA radiology suite. The HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant components to be provided by Scriptnetics include: a technician interface, dicom anonymizing, HL7 clinical trial identification tags and secure remote image transfer.
