Cyclists Increase Safety with Battery Free, Pedal Powered Lights

23 August 2007 - Carbon conscious commuters will no longer have to worry about not being seen by motorists on their cycle journeys to and from work, thanks to new battery-free, pedal-powered lights, from Pedalite International Ltd, part of the Mpower1 Group. The pedal lights are powered by kinetic energy from pedalling. They light up as soon as the cyclist starts pedalling and provide 360 degree visibility for bikes.
