11th Annual Native American Festival

The 11th Annual Native American Festival will be at Ridgefield 's Ballard Park the weekend of September 15 & 16, from 10am until 6pm, rain or shine. This educational, cultural, family event will feature entertainment by Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Joanne Shenandoah; multi-Native American Music Award winner Joseph Firecrow; and performances featuring Iroquois & pow wow style dancing, among other attractions.

Check out the children's activities in the teepee village, where a teepee-raising demonstration will be held once each day. Try some traditional Native American foods like corn soup, fry bread, buffalo burgers, venison and chili. Vendors will offer a variety of items from paintings to traditional and contemporary silver jewelry. Artists will give demonstrations throughout the day, and fine art will be on exhibit and available for purchase. Admission: $8.00 adults, $5.00 seniors & children 6-12, free for kids under 6.
