UkrGasBank has executed the syndicated trade-related term loan facility

(PRLEAP.COM) UkrGasBank has successfully closed its second syndicated facility totaling $46m. A total of 14 financial institutions from 9 countries joined the transaction.

The facility was oversubscribed by 130% and the amount increased from initially launched $20m to $46m. UkrGasBank intends to use proceeds to finance specific export/import contracts of its strategic clients. The facility has a tenor of 364 days and carries a margin of 2.70% p.a. above Libor.

In December 2006 UkrGasBank raised its debut a $16 million Syndicated Trade-Related Term Loan Facility with 60 % oversubscription from initially launched amount. Standard Bank Plc acted as Mandated Lead Arranger for the facility.
In January-March 2007 UkrGasBank has increased its net assets by 26.25 % totaling UAH 5631.8m as at June, 1 2007.

Shareholders’ equity grew by 1.26 to UAH 599.2m, loan portfolio increased by 51.66% to UAH 3282.5m. Corporate loan portfolio grew by 56.85% to UAH 2467.m and retail loan portfolio– by 37.83% to UAH 814.9m.

In January- March 2007 corporate term deposit portfolio has grown by 55.7% and totaled UAH 681.4m, retail term deposit portfolio – by 13.95% (UAH202.7m) and totaled UAH 1655.7m.
Net profit amounted to UAH 22.457m for January- May 2007, and it amounted to UAH 12.760m for the 2006 reporting period.

During the first five months of 2007 number of payment cards issued by UkrGasBank totaled 102.7 thousand and as at 1 June amounted to 484.8 thousand.

UkrGasBank has opened 41 outlets since beginning of the year. As at June 1, 2007 the Bank’s distribution network consists of 205 points of sales throughout Ukraine.
