Comedy Magician Pulls New Website Out of His Hat

August 25, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Magicians and comedians are abuzz, talking about the new website of San Francisco Comedy Magician, Robert Strong (www.strongentertainment.com) Several years in the making, the full-featured site with streaming video launches on Thursday, August 23rd, 2007. It looks more like a DVD than than a website. The innovative website features short videos of Robert with Hollywood-style effects (magical stardust, floating disco balls, and thunderbolts) that illustrate how he works with clients. Robert hosts a slide show of the over 30 countries where he's performed. At the end, Robert jumps into his tiny suitcase and is ready to travel to his next show.

As a high-ranking corporate performer whose clients include Disney, McDonald's, GM, and HP, Strong has a keen eye for attention to detail and high production value behind the scenes as well as on stage.

The site is easily navigable and informational. There is a streaming promo video of his performance in both Windows Media and Quicktime. On the second page, one finds a list of companies who have worked with Robert and a set of rave reviews from clients and press. On the next page, users can download a press release, a tech rider, an introduction, sample routines, and photos, directly from one page, and the site works perfectly as an electronic press kit. On the Contact page, one can request a DVD or a price-quote.

Perhaps the most valuable feature of the site is a blog (with an RSS feed) that Robert has also launched, called Strong Thoughts. Strong Thoughts will focus on ways companies can improve their business, their productivity, and their corporate events.
