The anticipation of the ProFractional laser has generated excitement all summer long. “We received many calls and inquiries from curious clients and potential clients about this new state-of-the-art laser that was due to arrive around the end of July,” says Dr. Elizabeth Hagberg, a board-certified physician who owns Skin Rejuvenation Clinic with her husband and fellow practitioner, Dr. Mark Hagberg. “It was exciting for us to see that the ProFractional laser was already creating local and national ‘buzz’ and we are proud to be first to offer it in the state.”

The ProFractional laser, manufactured by Sciton, Inc. offers dramatic results and quick healing for patients interested in improving wrinkles, acne scars and skin texture with little to no downtime. The new laser treatment is minimally ablative or invasive. The procedure creates tiny channels reaching depths appropriate for correcting acne scars, wrinkles and texture issues. This allows for a very comfortable treatment. So comfortable in fact, many ProFractional laser treatments do not require topical anesthetic.

Elizabeth Hagberg M.D. graduated from the University of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a degree in Medicine. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Beth has had a long-time interest in Dermatology and has continued her education in the field of cosmetic skin care.

Mark K. Hagberg M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and his medical diploma from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is also board-certified through the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. Throughout his medical career he has derived great satisfaction treating many dermatological diseases and conditions. Dr. Hagberg has continued his education in cosmetic skin care.
