(PRLEAP.COM) Dark Horse Entertainment marches into horror-comedy with “War Monkeys,” from a script by Cleve Nettles, based on a story by Producer Chris Patton. Film will be produced under the company’s independent label Dark Horse Indie. Project’s plot is being kept under wraps. Mike Richardson will Executive Produce.

“Monkeys” marks the second feature scribe has been hired to pen this year. Nettles is currently writing the thriller “Oculus” for producers Christina K.Y. Lee (“The Least of These”) and Jason Perr of Accelerated Entertainment and is associate producer on “Cat Tale” at Imagi Entertainment. Manager Grant Turck of Velocity Management represents Cleve Nettles.
