Models and Bookers have been hot on the International Models Journal (IMJ-Online) as a new booker listing service was added to the site last month. IMJ-Online, site for talent and modeling http://www.imj-online.com, claimed a large increase of registering models since the site made its booker list public. Naturally, bookers were also pleased to have their name and company information publicized, free of charge.

When an industry professional registers at IMJ-Online, their information is automatically entered in the booker listing. Bookers now even have the option of uploading their logo to the site.

Carmella Agnello-Sanders, editor of IMJ-Online, said she encourages bookers at IMJ to upload their logo.

“Having booker logos in the listing not only makes the site more appealing, but it give both IMJ and its bookers additional credibility and broadcasts professionalism,” she said.

“IMJ-Online has become more than an online casting board, it has become a full on service and networking medium between talent and bookers,” said Sanders.

Sanders added that in order to keep the site running smoothly, bookers are encouraged to post casting calls often.

“We do whatever it takes to accommodate our bookers in hopes that they do the same with our models,” she said.

Industry professionals in the field of fashion, casting, styling and production are labeled “bookers” at IMJ-Online, catogorized as: directors, scouts, make-up artists, producers, photographers, artists, stylists, agents, agencies, ect. Unlike other classified boards, bookers are able to target talent only without membership fees or classified ad placement charges.

A booker account is completely free of charge and models may sign-up for a free New Star account or a reasonably priced Exclusive service.
