Life Works are announcing a call to action to recognise symptoms of bulimia. Eating disorders are responsible for more loss of life than any other type of psychological illness. Around 1.1 million people in the UK are affected by an eating disorder and an alarming 10% of these are thought to be men. At Life Works, they are seeing a growing trend in the relatively un-noticed disorder of bulimia amongst men. FREE LECTURE ON LOVE, SEX & ROMANCE ADDICTION
Sex, love and romance are delightful aspects of our human relationships. However, when misused and abused these gifts of life can become a drug of choice. Life Works are holding a free lecture on Tuesday 18th September, which will identify sex, love and romance addiction and lay out some of the warning signs that tell you when they are being used compulsively or addictively. The lecture will be hosted by internationally known author, experienced therapist and speaker, Dr. Brenda Schaeffer, and will be held in The Lecture Hall at Kensington Central Library.
