Wake Education Partnership Seeks Entries For Annual Awards


(PRLEAP.COM) RALEIGH, N.C. – Ann Denlinger, president of Wake Education Partnership, an independent advocacy organization dedicated to making world-class schools possible in Wake County through business and community involvement, has announced that the organization is now accepting nominations for its 2007 Business Partner for Education Award. Sponsored by the Wake Education Partnership and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the award is presented to two businesses that have taken a leadership role in providing high-quality public education in Wake County schools. Nominations must be received by Monday, Sept. 10 and are available for download at http://www.wakeedpartnership.org/events/annualmeeting/BPEA_Awards.htm. Winners will be announced at the 2007 Annual Meeting to be held Thursday, Oct. 11 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center on the North Carolina State University campus.
