BILLY RAY CYRUS ADDED TO CANADIAN CMA SHOW LINEUP

(PRLEAP.COM) NASHVILLE, TENN Billy Ray Cyrus has been added to the CCMA Awards lineup for September 10th at Brandt Centre, Regina, Saskatchewan. The show will not only be seen in Canada, but also in the United States and Australia. Cyrus, who is set to release a new album this fall, also stars in the television series “Hannah Montana” and “Doc”, and appeared on last season’s “Dancing With The Stars”.

The 2007 Canadian CMA Awards will be hosted by Gemini Award winning Paul Brandt, with performances that include: Doc Walker, George Canyon, Jim Cuddy, Emerson Drive, Jessie Farrell, Brad Johner, Aaron Pritchett, Johnny Reid and Shane Yellowbird. Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Jimmy Rankin will also participate in a special segment.

The show will also feature special guests, including members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (headquartered in Regina, SK) dressed in traditional scarlet tunics, renovation guru Mike Holmes, and Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman and Beth Chapman, from the series “Dog the Bounty Hunter”.

The September 10 broadcast will air across Canada at 8PM (9pm AST & 9:30pm NF) on CBC TV, with encore airings on CMT Canada, in the U.S. on television network Great American Country (GAC), and in Australia on Country Music Channel (CMC).
