The American Association of Franchisees and Dealers (AAFD) Franchisee Leadership Summit and Fall Meetings will be held October 8 -9th , 2007, at the Chaparral Suites Resort, Scottsdale, AZ.

The Fall Meeting is an opportunity for members and franchise leaders to share experiences, and identify common issues, to help the AAFD continue its important work of defining and promoting Total Quality Franchising.

The following AAFD councils and committees will be holding their semi-annual meetings:
Franchisee Leadership Summit, the Council of Fair Franchising Seal Recipients, Franchisee LegaLine, Suppliers Council, AAFD Board of Directors, and assorted AAFD committees including Annual Conference, Purchasing, Membership Recruiting, and Legislative Advocacy.

The AAFD spring conference in Dallas enjoyed record-breaking crowds and the AAFD intends to build on that momentum with a successful fall meeting. The AAFD’s spring conference was what Chairman and CEO Robert Purvin called “the largest gathering of franchisee associations in history.”

The fall meetings are an important time for AAFD committees to discuss specific issues and chart the course of action for the upcoming year. The AAFD Fair Franchising Standards Committee will meet on October 8th and is open for all members to participate in a collective effort to define standards that satisfy legitimate business needs of both franchisees and franchisors.
