VIPCG Launches Leadership Development Program for Heads of Government Agencies, Parastatal Leaders, and Related high-ranking officials in Nigeria

NEW YORK, New York and LAGOS, Nigeria — September 4, 2007 — VIPCG launched a new Leadership Transformation Program for Nigerian Government Leaders. The program, to be held November 5-8 in New York, targets senior leaders from across government agencies across of the country. The aim is to dramatically improve the impact of government programs in the country in a very short span of time. This is in line with President Yar' Adua's focus on human capital development.

The design of the VIPCG program is customized to the Nigerian Government's development needs and strategic concerns. VIPCG faculty and staff created the design based on a detailed needs analysis, including interviews with top-ranking government officials. This process yielded the focal areas around which the program is organized.

The exclusive VIPCG program will not only offer insights from masters of 21st Century Leadership philosophy, but will also create an opportunity for Nigeiran Government leaders to network, and begin a journey that will accelerate their leadership impact.
