OXFORD, UK – June 2005 – MOVE2OPEN (m2o), a leading provider of data migration and application conversion solutions, today announced the release of a new version of the I2C conversion tool (release 4.21).

The m2o conversion tool now migrates 100% of CA-IDEAL code to Micro Focus Net Express® and Java. It can be installed on a windows desktop and used to completely migrate to Unix/Linux or Windows platforms.

The tool builds a compete repository of all entities and allows the cross referencing of old and new objects prior to migration.

The generated code uses SQL to access to Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server or UDB and utilizes object technology to ensure the generated code is easy to maintain.

The migrated code will perform at similar or improved performance levels with massive reduction in running and maintenance costs.

Huw Price, m2o Managing Director commented “The I2C product set has been improving steadily migration after migration and is now ready to be used by end users so they can complete the migration themselves at much reduced cost.”
