OSOYOU.COM MAKES A MEDIA SPLASH

OSOYOU.COM, the first social shopping website aimed at women, has kicked off it’s launch campaign with a burst of advance publicity aimed at raising awareness of the site among the fashion trade and business audience.

The site, which is set to take fashion into the Web 2.0 era, was featured heavily in The Observer and The Independent.

The Independent article (3 September 2007) featured a profile of Shaa Wasmund of Bright Station Ventures, the venture capital firm funding OSOYOU.com, and summarises the site’s revolutionary mix of shopping and social networking functionality.

The Observer article (2 September 2007) featured an interview with Dan Wagner of Bright Station Ventures who explains the thinking behind the site and the high hopes Bright Station have for OSOYOU.com.

OSOYOU.com will see a further burst of publicity over the next few weeks as it sponsors London Fashion Week which launches on 15 September 2007.
