Massage for Couples Translates the Confusion of Relationship Miscommunications

September 12, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
Studies suggest that over 90% of our communication is derived from non-verbal cues. While a person may say one thing, their vocal intonation and body language may communicate something entirely different, which frequently translates as a “mixed message” in relationships.

Touch with Intention™ has created a non-traditional, fun solution for eliminating miscommunication in relationships. Using simple and practical massage techniques, couples learn how to massage each other, creating greater clarity, communication and connection in their relationship.

“The Touch with Intention™ workshops teach couples the ABC’s of massage and increase their awareness of verbal and non-verbal cues,” said Jenn Kaye, founder of Touch with Intention™. “All of our exercises are designed to provide participants with a toolbox of ways to promote a greater understanding of each other. What’s so wonderful about having better communication and greater understanding is that there is less room for mixed messages, and more room for intimacy and romance.”

The workshop includes:

• Hour 1: Introduction and demonstration of basic massage techniques
• Hour 2: Application and practice of massage techniques and communication cues
• Hour 3: Additional practice of massage techniques and specialized one-on-one assistance
• Hour 4: Verbal exercises that allow couples to let go of resentment, honor each other and rekindle their connection
