ZIGGY TEAMS UP WITH SARAMAX

Cleveland, OH – (July 6, 2004) – Ziggy & Friends, Inc. is teaming up with prominent apparel manufacturer, SaraMax Apparel Group in a licensing agreement arranged by Moxie and Co., that will turn Ziggy into a fashion statement.

Ziggy's agreement with SaraMax Apparel Group, a high-volume supplier of merchandise to major retailers, opens a tremendous opportunity to have original Ziggy sleepwear, loungewear and underwear for juniors and adults available nationwide in major retail outlets. SaraMax is one of the largest privately held branded and private label undergarment manufacturers in the United States.

The agreement is part of a licensing and promotional campaign based on the cultural classic Ziggy character, headed by Ziggy & Friends, Inc. in conjunction with licensing company, Moxie & Co. The licensing effort for Ziggy is a well-balanced program to deliver Ziggy to his long time, faithful fan base, while introducing the character to younger generations, in very specific, defined categories. The offering of Ziggy sleepwear and loungewear for both the adult and youth markets, is one of the key apparel licensees that allows Ziggy fans of all generations to enjoy the fun classic character while introducing Ziggy to a larger market and broadening his audience.

By reaching out to various demographics, Ziggy is able to show the "everyman" qualities that have made him a popular, cultural character for more than three decades. From mothers to sons, to teens and young adults, there's a Ziggy characteristic that fits everyone.

Ziggy's new licensees include: SaraMax Apparel Group for men's and women's sleepwear, loungewear, and underwear; Casa d'Oro for bracelets and charms; and Incentive Media for a revolutionary new "Personalized Comic Strip" product line.

With more than a dozen high quality licensees, including Andrews McMeel Publishing; Universal Studios, and Viking Sewing Machines, Ziggy is extending his boundaries beyond the newspaper comic pages and into mainstream America stores in a variety of categories.

ABOUT ZIGGY
Ziggy was created by Tom Wilson in 1971. Wilson created Ziggy & Friends, Inc. as the company that would provide the artistic and creative force behind his kind and charismatic comic character creation. For the past 17 years, Tom Wilson II has been drawing the daily Ziggy comic panel, the Sunday Ziggy comic strip and authoring the collection of Ziggy books in conjunction with his father's creative influence in the company. Though retired from the day-to-day operation of drawing Ziggy & Friends, the senior Wilson's creative influence, humor and wisdom is ongoing and very apparent in Ziggy comics.
