Toronto, Canada (PR Leap) September 13 – Connie Terwilliger, vocal coach and voiceover talent, is featured this week on the renowned Voice Over Experts Podcast, http://podcasts.voices.com, the most popular voice over podcast for beginner and professional voice actors. In addition to her coaching and voice over work, Connie Terwilliger teaches Acting for Radio/Voiceovers at San Diego City College and is the immediate past president of Media Communications Association-International.

In Connie Terwilliger’s lecture, "Self-Evaluation for Voice Actors”, listeners will learn about what it takes to be a professional voice talent and how to go about conducting a self-evaluation to assess what level of voiceover talent they are, whether a newbie, part-timer or full-time voiceover talent. Students will also learn how to position themselves as a salesperson, categorize their offerings, and identify who wants to buy their product.

Connie confides, “We’re experiencing the Gold Rush of the Voice Over business right now.” She goes on to say that all voice talents need to have a proper web presence, at websites such as Voices.com specifically, in order to remain competitive as an established voiceover talent and to grow client bases for those new to the field.

As a contributor to the Voice Over Experts Podcast, Connie Terwilliger will be lecturing on a regular basis, helping people to understand, develop and succeed in the business of voice acting and voiceover. Since the lectures are available in the form of podcasts, the lessons are hosted online and can be subscribed to through the Apple iTunes Directory, to be enjoyed at any time.

The Voice Over Experts Podcast can be found and subscribed to for free in the iTunes Podcast Directory and online at the Voices.com Podcast Center.

About Connie Terwilliger

Connie Terwilliger is one of the most well known names on the Internet when it comes to female voice talent. She’s been online with an Internet presence since 1996. Connie did her first official voiceover work on air at KCOE-FM while in college in Cedar Rapids Iowa in 1972. After getting her Masters in Radio and TV at Indiana University, she started a long career juggling many hats – Producer, Writer, On and Off-camera talent. Over the past several years Connie has been able to “retire” as a Producer and Writer and concentrate on full-time voice work for clients around the world out of her home studio (www.voiceover-talent.com) and the studios in San Diego and Orange County. She teaches one class a semester - Acting for Radio/Voiceovers - at San Diego City College.

Her session on Self-Evaluation presented at VOICE 2007 (http://blogs.voices.com/voxdaily/2007/04/voice_conference_connie_terwilliger.html) was well received and has led to invitations to speak at media performance schools across the country. She is also the immediate past President of Media Communications Association-International – MCA-I – (www.mca-i.org) a networking and professional development group for media communicators that she joined back when she was producing.
