Genesee Depot, WI - (July 30, 2004) – Back to school has never been so much fun. A college dorm room is not complete without a copy of Aleken Games' Rock and Roll Triviologies™ – the complete Rock and Pop music trivia game.

This comprehensive game that brings the first 50 years of rock and pop history into any home is a great addition to the "things to bring to school list' this fall.

"What better way to unwind after a tough week of classes then to put on some of your favorite music and play Rock and Roll Triviologies with friends,' says co-creator and president of Aleken Games Ken Eichstaedt. "Music buff or not, you will find yourself using the trivia questions as topics of conversation after the game is over. The game is as addicting as wanting to know everything about your favorite artists.'

Music is one of the many things that are enjoyed in a healthy college experience. Loads of people even find music influencing themselves to pursue professions in the music industry. Rock and Roll Triviologies can help both the music enthused and the average person learn the history and current facts about Rock and Roll music.

Rock and Roll Triviologies (MSRP $29.95 for two or more players or teams) is just the right game for get-togethers and parties. The game's attention-grabbing trivia questions relate to its players by evoking memories about the music they love. Players will find themselves telling stories about concerts they have attended and the stars they have seen in the flesh. The game takes its players on a musical journey through in-depth questions about the lives of stars, their relationships, the music they make, and the awards they have received.

The object of the game is to amass a five-piece band by answering the questions which correspond with specific music categories on the board. Once your five-piece band is assembled, the player now tries to win their band music industry awards by answering "deep-cut' Rock and Roll trivia questions. Just like having a band in reality, the road ahead is unpredictable. To bring elements of realism into play, there are spaces on the board that can help or harm. If a player lands on Lucky Break, they can move to any spot of choice on the board; if they land on Band Break Up, they loose a member of their band. A new band member can join as easily as rolling the dice and landing on Jam Session, where the player can take a band member from any of the other players. Once a five member band has received three music industry awards, they win the game.

"Even after having taken part in creating the game, every time I play Rock and Roll Triviologies it reminds me of how much I love music,' says co-creator Julie Eichstaedt. Julie and her husband Ken have not only been placing the game in larger vendors such as Tower Records, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, FYE, BMG, and others, they are also taking a grassroots approach by selling the game in person at popular major music festivals such as Bonnaroo and Rockfest. "Promoting our game is much like being a manager of a band,' said Julie. "I feel very enthusiastic about the game. We represent the game and if you are genuinely wholehearted about it then the fans of the game will soon express the same passion you do.'

Aleken Games was founded in 2003 by Ken and Julie Eichstaedt on an idea that came to Ken while driving in his car listening to the radio: "Why can't I design a really cool Rock and Roll trivia game?' After presenting the question to Julie, her response was simply, "Let's do it!' The two combined their individual talents, Ken's business experience and Julie's design expertise, along with their love of music and created Aleken Games. The company launched its first game Rock and Roll Triviologies in November 2003 and recently launched the Pocket Pack – a pocket sized edition of the game.

Rock and Roll Triviologies can be purchased at music, book, and game stores throughout the US and Canada. It can also be acquired online at Aleken Games' product website, www.gamesthatrock.com. The website features sample questions from the game and other fun Rock and Roll facts and trivia, which are updated on a regular basis.
