Brandt will be recognized at the annual awards banquet, September 29, in Dallas.

Brandt founded Skywire Software in 2000. Under his leadership, the company has experienced tremendous growth both organically and through 10 acquisitions, including Integrated Insurance Technologies, Docucorp International, and Whitehill Technologies this year. Under Brandt’s leadership, Skywire Software has earned more than 20 awards in recognition of its high growth, commitment to employees and the community, leadership in industry standards and innovation in technology. Prior to founding Skywire Software, Brandt was engaged in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors where he drew together and sharpened many of the skills that he used in building Skywire Software. An active community volunteer, Brandt serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations focused on promoting entrepreneurship among youth at risk and philanthropy to emerging and established companies. He is a founding director of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Greater Dallas Chapter.

Brandt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance from Southern Methodist University and also participated in the MBA program.
