POSitive Retail Manager Interfaces with QuickBooks

September 15, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
POSitive Software Company recently completed the integration of their flagship product, POSitive Retail Manager (PRM), with QuickBooks accounting software.

“POSitive’s products have always had the ability to manually export information to most popular accounting programs”, stated Mike Goodmansen, Director of Training for POSitive Software”.

“Recent changes to QuickBooks made it easy for us to interface that product directly with POSitive Retail Manager”, explained Mr. Goodmansen. “So now the exchange of accounting information is automatic.”

The POSitive Retail Manager/QuickBooks interface allows the export of existing accounts from PRM to QuickBooks, or the importation of accounts from QuickBooks into PRM. Once setup, the interface runs in the background and automatically updates QuickBooks whenever changes are made in PRM’s general ledger. The initial version of the PRM/QuickBooks interface supports only summary information, but an enhanced version, due early next year, will be able to export transaction detail.

POSitive Commerce is part of the POSitive Retail Manager suite of products and services designed to automate the point of sale, credit card processing and e-commerce needs of small to medium size retail stores.

QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Corporation and used for their popular line of small business accounting products.
