E-Commerce Growth Spurs Addition of Servers

POSitive Software Company recently completed the installation of its West coast web server facility in Pasco, Washington.

“We’ve maintained a server facility on the East coast for several years and it has served us well, but the rapid growth of our POSitive Commerce E-commerce service has made it necessary for us to expand our capacity”, said Dean Martin, Operations Manager for POSitive Software Company.

“We’re making a significant investment in our infrastructure in order to handle the continued growth of POSitive Commerce and to ensure a high level of performance for our client’s E-commerce sites”, added Martin.

POSitive Commerce is a state-of-the-art E-commerce service that is built upon the open source Joomla content management system. By using open source technology, POSitive Commerce gives clients a high degree of flexibility in the design and functionality of their E-commerce site. The service is integrated with POSitive Retail Manager, a retail store management system that allows easy upload of inventory, pricing, and images to the POSitive Commerce web site, as well as downloading of orders.
