Charlotte Martial Arts Academy Says Knowing Certain Sounds Could Keep Children Safe

(Huntersville, North Carolina) September 15, 2007- King Tiger Tae Kwon Do, North Charlotte is pleased to announce it is taking new strides to keep children safe. It has instituted a new line of safety courses entitled KNOW & GO® developed by Tom Patire, one of the most-recognized authorities on child safety, personal safety, security and executive protection in the world. KNOW & GO® was researched, developed, and tested as an important first step to ensuring your child’s safety. This specialized, interactive, action packed, safety course is designed for children specifically between the ages of 5 and 12.

King Tiger Academy North- Huntersville will be kicking off the series with a KNOW & GO® session designed for youth ages 5 to 7. This class will concentrate on recognizing dangerous sounds that can relate to dangerous situations. Youth will be taught in a friendly, safe and fun environment to recognize specific sounds that could lead to chance or intentional unsafe situations. Each child will also have the opportunity to use a unique obstacle course. Children will be taught to identify audible sounds and use proper safe movement to get out of harms way. This class will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at 2:00 pm at King Tiger Academy- Huntersville (16525 Birkdale Commons Parkway # 200) in Huntersville, North Carolina. The program is approximately 1 hour in length, depending on number of youth in attendance. Each KNOW & GO® session provided by King Tiger Academy of North Charlotte are free and open to the public.
