Piatek Software Announces Gains & Losses Tax Reporting in PortfolioTK 1.20

(PRLEAP.COM) Santa Maria, CA (PRLEAP) September 20, 2007 — PortfolioTK 1.20 includes the ability to generate Gains and Losses trade reports to be used in Form 1040 Schedule D year-end tax reporting. Without any more work than inputting trades from their broker, users can instantly generate their profit and losses for a specified year with just one click. This continues to demonstrate PortfolioTK’s commitment to producing accurate and pertinent reports.

Also introduced in PortfolioTK 1.20 is a cool and powerful new feature called Trade Sync. Using Trade Sync, users are able to visually see the performance of the market in relation to their buy price and date. Any currently held open position is added to the Symbol’s list in the Research tab so users can quickly at-a-glance chart the performance of their open positions. PortfolioTK takes it one step further by plotting an arrow and horizontal line at the buy price from the date of purchase so users can see how the stock has moved in relation to their buy price.
