Creative Writing Workshop-Share Your Inner Voice

(PRLEAP.COM) On Saturday, October 6, 2007, Jacquelyn Sylvan, author of the upcoming Young Adult novel Surviving Serendipity, will host a Creative Writing Workshop at the Lehighton Area Memorial Library, at 124 North Street, from 1-2 p.m.

Jacquelyn is an alumni of Pleasant Valley High School, and Northampton Community College, where she graduated in 2002 with an Associate in Journalism degree. The workshop will cover such topics as idea, plot and character development, and editing for publication.
Participants are encouraged to bring one or two samples of their writing, writing materials and/or laptop. Those interested in participating are asked to contact librarian Becky Wanamaker at 610-377-2750 to register. Registration is free, but a donation to the library is requested.
