Quality construction key to Perry Homes’ Success

One of the hallmarks of Perry Homes is quality construction. For 40 years, Perry Homes has blended that quality construction with versatile designs and customer satisfaction to gain the trust of more than 35,000 homebuyers in Texas.

Perry Homes uses high-quality products in the construction of new homes, including Elk 30-year architectural shingles; Hardiplank trim, soffit and exterior siding; Sherwin Williams paint; Honeywell thermostats; and Delta faucets.

Before, during and after construction, a battery of professional inspections and reviews is conducted by third-party engineers and surveyors. Before the first yard of concrete is poured, third-party engineers test the soil to determine foundation specifications. During the foundation process, additional tests and inspections are conducted.

Licensed Texas engineers structurally design Perry Homes to meet wind requirements of the International Residential Code. The installation of heating, ventilating and cooling (HVAC) equipment, plumbing and electrical wiring is monitored through testing and inspections. Gas lines are pressure-tested, and water lines are checked for leaks.

Throughout the construction process, in addition to the third-party inspections, the Perry Homes construction staff completes more than 40 inspections to ensure the home meets Perry Homes’ standard of quality. Plus, to promote quality consistency, each Perry Homes project manager is designated in only one community.

Perry Homes builds in more than 50 Houston-area communities with one- and two-story homes and two- and three-story townhomes priced from the $130,000s to the $700,000s and ranging from 1,200 to more than 7,000 square feet.
