Family friendly authors today should have and deserve all the recognition and exposure that they can get. They market they products just as everyone else but Dennis feels that in today’s environment that there needs to be more focus on family friendly authors. To help achieve this for other authors Dennis has created something new in the world of author interviews. He has taken upon himself to add pages of interviews with family friendly authors to his web site www.myqualitywriting.com. It is a good thing when an author has an interview and it gets exposure either through the Internet or other means. Dennis has taken author interviews one step further. Dennis has selected many family friendly authors and has created questions specifically for the individual authors that he has posted on his site. His approach is unique in that the details of the questions are geared to the individual author and their writing. This approach is different than any that has been seen to date. There are some sites that offer author interviews but the questions are the same for each author. This is not a bad thing as it gets the authors who take part exposure.

Every author deserves to receive recognition for their writing efforts and Dennis has created a new approach by adding these pages to his site. The authors are listed on the pages by the letter beginning with their last name. The authors selected have agreed to answer questions related to their writing. These authors include well-known and not so well-know authors. The questions Dennis has created provides an insight to each author and their writing. Dennis found many of the authors through his networking efforts, organizations to which he belongs and newsletters that he receives on a daily basis. The questions that Dennis develops for each author is taken from what they have written, their newsletters if they have one, their web site if they have one and their insight into the world of publishing.

Some of the authors who are posted have unique experiences or perspective to the world of publishing and these interviews help to bring out this information in an effort to help other writers. One author had a one on one private audio interview with President Ronald Reagan. His experience and how he was able to obtain this access is well worth reading. The author’s name is Max Elliott Anderson. Another example is an author who is blind and has severe rheumatoid arthritis and yet she has written several books and co-authored some with such names as Jack Canfield. She is also an inspirational speaker. She is also adamant about causes in which she believes. If you have not heard of this author you are truly missing something. Her name is Shirley Cheng. She is truly a remarkable person.

There are many good sites that offer author interviews for which many take part. Having questions directly related to each author and their writing activities brings more insight into each author and may spark some interest by others going through the same experiences. Dennis in his methods to post the family friendly interviews makes it easy to find any author for which someone may be looking. If a visitor knows the last name of the author he/she can find it on the page beginning with the letter of the last name of the author. All interview pages are connected to each other with an index to the letters of the alphabet. Therefore it makes it easy to view all interviews that Dennis has posted. Dennis helps to provide this kind of insight where it has not been done in the past. The questions Dennis has created for some authors have prompted them to say that they are great questions and they were happy to answer them and talk about their writing.
