“Conditions in Greenland’s mountains can be dicey,” jokes Göran Marklund the helicopter pilot. “We could only count on one chance. But we got up over the ridge and managed to make the drop.” The dice made a long tumbling journey down a snowy slope before coming to rest in deep powder.
