(PRLEAP.COM) Atlanta, Georgia - September 27, 2007- Show Me the Way Foundation in conjunction with Jezebel Magazine will recognize World’s AIDS Day by hosting Runway RED, a fashion show fundraiser geared towards raising awareness about the epidemic of HIV/AIDS in the State of Georgia, while focusing on the children and youth directly affected. Community and celebrity kids will model designer clothes for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. The event will be held in the Americas Mart Building in Atlanta, GA on World AIDS Day, Saturday, December 1st, 2007. Doors open at 5:00pm. An open model call for all children ages 8-18 will be held on October 13, 2007, Hilton Atlanta, 255 Courtland Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303 from 9am – 12pm.

Show Me the Way Foundation will introduce the RED campaign during Runway RED, which symbolizes: Realization of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, Education on HIV, and Developmental planning to eliminate Georgia from being the 9th highest state with HIV-infected carriers. Last year, the event, formerly known as Wonderland Kids Fashion Show featuring Celebrity Kids, was a huge success, with over 20 celebrities’ children such as Big Boi, Jermaine Dupri, and Lil Jon participating in the affair.

Fashion Show Producer Alex Davis of Delotch Davis has created an array of fashionable and purposeful themes for each of the four segments featured in the show. The children will exhibit high-end fashion designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Cynthia Rowley while educating the audience on HIV/AIDS and the importance of abstinence.

Show Me the Way Foundation is a non-profit organization that is one of 13 organizations in Georgia that provides mentoring and positive group activities for children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. The campaign includes Runway RED, public service announcements, and high school tours discussing the seriousness of HIV/AIDS.
