Learn Japanese CD launched

The Japanese Language Course was inaugurated at Vel Group of Institutions which has constituent Engineering Colleges, viz. Vel Tech Engineering College, Vel Hi-Tech Engg College & Vel Multimedia Engg College.

On behalf of Vel Group of Intituitions, Shri R. Rangarajan, Chairman presided over the function. Ms Sakura Ozaki, Vice Consul- Culture, Information & Development, Consulate General of Japan at Chennai was the Chief Guest at the function.

The ¡§Learn Japanese CD¡¨ has been developed indigenously by S&N Hayakawa Enterprises with the help of Professional Native Japanese was released by the Vice Consul. This CD enables the learner to prepare and appear for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 4 exam conducted world wide by Japan Foundation. The idea behind this is to help the students and professionals who wish to learn the Japanese Language through Distance Education Course to be conducted by S&N Hayakawa Enterprises.

The ¡§Learn Japanese CD¡¨ has the following features:
„Ï The stroke order of three different types of alphabets in Japanese Language viz. Hiragana, Katakana & Kanji have been incorporated with phonetics by Native Japanese

„Ï The trans literation of Japanese in English which is called Romaji has been incorporated for each word with English meaning and voice by native Japanese with lip movement and there are 800 words

„Ï The sentences in conversation pattern with Romaji and English meaning with voice by native Japanese

„Ï The Japanese way of counting has been incorporated with Romaji and English meaning with voice by native Japanese.

The Vice Consul, Ms Sakura Ozaki emphasized the need for cooperation between India and Japan and the need for multi-lingual Engineering Graduates for the MNCs both in India and Japan. She also underlined the negotiations between the Prime Ministers of India and Japan during the visit of Prime Minister of Japan to India (22nd to 24th Aug 2007) in which Japan conveyed to Government of India its intention to improve investments in infrastructural activities from US $ 500 Million in 2006 to US $ 5.5 Billion by 2010. The Japanese delegation has shown interest in investing in Mumbai-Delhi Industrial Corridor development Project for a total length of 1443 KMs.

The Managing Director of S&N Hayakawa Enterprises, Ms Jasmine Hayakawa in her Felicitations remarked that there has been large scale requirement of multi lingual Engineering Graduates from MNCs. As the Japanese are not versatile in English Language, the business in the past could not grow as is the case with Western Nations. Now with the importance given to India for growth potential by Japanese MNCs, the Indian students can learn the Language and gain into Japanese Market.

With a view to help the learners of Japanese Language through Distance Education Course, S&N Hayakawa Enterprises is also planning to conduct Contact Classes at select centers.
