cliché’s. We have all heard them during our times of broken-hearted despair, and spoke
them when trying to comfort others. From the promise of there being ‘someone for
everyone’, to the battle call of ‘all’s fair in love and war’, to the desired finality of ‘love
conquers all’, the mending of countless broken hearts have been jump-started by these
words as well as the myriad of others. Despite this relief however, few would disagree
that in life matters of the heart are rarely so simple.
